Bedsa Caves

Bedsa Caves, is situated about 15 km south of Kamshet Railway Station, is one of the oldest caves in Maharashtra dating back to 60 BC

Bhaje Caves

Bhaje Caves situated at Malavali near lonavala. The Bhaje caves are amongst the oldest monasteries excavated by monks of the Hinayana order carved around 200 BC.

The Bhaja caves share the same set of architectural designs as Karla caves.There are 14 stupas, five inside and nine outside the caves. One of the caves has some fine sculptures. Near the last cave is a waterfall which, during the monsoon season, has water that falls into a small pool at the bottom

Karla Caves

Karla Caves are approximately 40 km away from the city of Pune.The caves were built by the Buddhist monks who lived around the 3 rd and 2 nd century B.C. This is an intricate series of caves, which actually belonged to the Hinayana Buddhists and was built during the Satavahanas Dynasty . Beautiful as they are, the caves are a treat to watch specially, because of their artistic magnificence.

Chaturshringi Temple

Senapati Bapat Road.

Peshwa Museum

Peshwa museum is situated inside Parvati temple. Shrimant Peshwa was a built a palace in the year 1795 the same has been converted into Peshwa Museum. Near the museum is situated the Samadhi Sthan of Shrimant Nanasaheb Peshwa.

The museum contains paintings of all Peshwas, Maratha Sardars, their
family members along with the arms, articles and coins which were in
use in Peshwa era.The rare collection is displayed in the museum and hence treated to be
the most important museum connected with the history of Pune and Peshwa
Raj.

Parvati Temple

Parvati is one of the favourite spots in Pune. The height of Parvati hill is 2100 feet above sea level and 260 feet from the city level. Raja Dinkar kelkar Museum

The Raja Dinkar Kelkar Museum is the one-man collection of Padmashree Late Dr. D.G. Kelkar (1896 -1990). 'Kaka', as Dr. Kelkar was affectionately known, dedicated his collection to the memory of his only son `Raja’ who died an untimely tragic death.
It is a collection about 21,000 priceless artifacts which mirror the everyday life of India. A testimony to man’s creative spirit - the spirit that breaths beauty into the banal, and puts romance into the mundane.
